I just returned home after a long holiday weekend in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. One of my favorite things to do when I travel is to visit different Goodwill stores. If you are a follower of Got It At Goodwill on facebook, you had a chance to see all of the stores I stopped at. They are all so unique! The best perk about shopping at the stores in South Carolina is that there is no sales tax. Goodwill is tax-free everyday! Also they have a Goodwill frequent shopper card where you earn points on every purchase you make. Once you get to 250 points you get a 25% discount. Over the next few days I’ll be sharing a few of my finds. I’m proud to say that I didn’t bring home any furniture this trip, although I had my eye on a yellow bamboo bedroom set. It had potential!
You can visit the website of Goodwill Industries of Lower South Carolina and follow them on facebook. Their blog, Trendy Thrifty Now, is one of my favorites! They showcase some great DIY projects, fashion trends, and frequently have Goodwill giveaways.
Just like in Virginia, the Palmetto Goodwill stores have a lot of new merchandise from Target. I found these two gorgeous necklaces for just $3.99 each.
Know what? These are still selling on Target’s website for the full price of $29.99! I saved about 87% by shopping at Goodwill.
This one is called Clustered Short Necklace – Blue. It comes in a variety of different colors.
This is the Clear Stone Collar Short Necklace and it also comes in different colors.
Can you believe it? I got it at Goodwill!
